New stocks for HD3800 series hit SLS today. The new enhanced thermal cooling HD3850 was still freshly pack in those cargo boxes when i arrived. Had to make a request, or else i would have gotten the one with stock cooler. Finally i build a new rig for her   and got myself the  new HD3850 PCS version GFX.

Sitting in my rig it holds on to a stunning temperature of 40 degress comparing to 52 degress  on stock cooling. Both of which are in idle status.

Was walking along town on Saturday night and the Christmas atmosphere started to blend into my sight ..:) Christmas is overall my most favorite time of the year, nothing beats Christmas for me

Had beef rice near Bugis and headed down to raffles city area to visit raffles hotel. This time of the year almost everything will be lighted up so brightly. Well not only did the place greeted me with its beautiful sight, there was a scent of great aroma coming from the BBQ balcony, man.. i could not resist this kind of temptation. BBQ prawns was my guess

My most anticipated racing game is here! NFS Pro Street really impress me inside out! In the demo you are allowed to choose between grip race and speed race both are equally exhilarating ! The main difference between them lies in the ambiance and the rides.

Speed race will take you on a trip through the desert. Beware for the rocky hill or you will smash and do the flip !Grip race takes you through the city. You will see more modern cars here compare to speed race.

This round you will notice hell lots of damages on the rides , almost every part of the vehicle will come apart after a crash. Also the smokes are more deep this time causing your driver’s sight to ware out. Now you will wonder if you are on your X-Box or your PC. ^^

Woke up this morning(27 Nov) and was surprise to find that crysis demo was already available for download . Some how someone on HWZ got hold of the leak demo and post the link for singaporeans to download. The official website was still on the count down timer at that point of time.

As for crysis i would say my wait was finally over ! When the game was in production i was already anticipating for the demo to arrive!

The demo had its location near the beach , i guess they really wanted to show case their new water rendering technology. “Electronic Arts” artists can really do a good job. This round the explosion effects surprised me, didn’t expected it to be so real on a DX9.0c card. As for in-game tips make sure you pick up ammos on the way, they run out pretty fast.

Ok as crysis is a new generation game DX10 will make a whole lot of difference here. Recommended 8800GTS! As For DX9.0 users i don’t recommend high setting, they designed high setting particularly for Shader model 4.0. You probably wont get to see any images.Screens i captured :

A blink of an eye and the holidays are over just like that. Hope everyone have enjoyed themselves very much ^_^ ! We shall all see each other when school start tomorrow!

Spent most of my time working during the holidays trying to earn just abit of pocket money but ended up using it to buy a psp =.= so silly of me. Just before school was about to start i flew to japan for my well deserved break ahaha , was there sightseeing and doing lots of shopping. Will post some pictures soon.

Just early this afternoon i downloaded “Call of Duty 4″ .  The game has improved alot compare to the previous few editions i played. Game play is pretty smooth and i would say it will leave u craving for more after the demo. With a file size of 1.37Gb,  you would want to consider downloading it.

Finally got a keyboard that is quiet and easy to type on. The previous one that use to sit on my desktop is now history. Haha!  Main reason why i bought this new keyboard is due to its features like the sound jack which is one of the buying point for me. Now there is no hassle to plug in my headphones

Will be quiet busy after today, have stuff to do during this holiday le .. ok time to sign off now wanna have an early rest. Hope i can find time to blog ^^

Finally after 2 weeks of hardwork i can sit down and play some games. I feel like a free man now haha ! Well today is also the opening of comex 2007 !! So its a “Xuan Xi Ling Meng” for me ^^ . Stepping into the crowded exhibition halls just give me a sense of satisfaction. Everytime i see IT produts around me i feel so energize haha !! Of cos, nic, kw and johnathan was there with me too.

It was kinda past lunch time by the time we finish with the exhibits .. Time for nic and his “Hao Jei Shao” . Its was in this coffee shop around bugis (didnt take note of the name) that we decided to settle our lunch ^^. Hungry as i can be i cant wait to be the first to dip my chopsticks into the food +) !! So what did we eat ?? “Kuay Chap” lor haha!

Im sure most of you have heard about this news. Just about 1 week ago a 5.4GHZ processor(Conroe) was stolen from a car in Germany. As one of the world best overclockers they were going to overclock 2 favmous mobos (both Blitz and the Striker) at an event that was going to take place pretty soon.Well but now they have already started benchmarking another new set of conreo.

Shamino has make singapore proud again. Recently he and another foreign overclocker(kinc) have attained another world record for 3DMark06 with a score of 27039. For those who are not sure how remarkable this is i would say it is 3X what a very high-end user will get !
